（中央社記者吳睿騏桃園16日電）發生於1977年的中壢事件至今已經40年，為讓更多民眾了解這被諭為民主抗爭時代開端的歷史，桃園市新桃文教協會舉辦了中壢事件40週年特展，透過影像與史料認識台灣民主史。

1977年11月19日舉辦的5項地方公職選舉，是國民黨在台實施地方自治以來規模最大的一次。當天進行桃園縣長選舉的中壢國小213投開票所發生作票舞弊嫌疑，因檢警處理不公引發群眾包圍中壢警分局，翻覆軍車與火燒中壢分局暴動事件，這也是戒嚴時期，台灣民眾第一次自發性走上街頭抗議選舉舞弊，被稱為「中壢事件」。

桃園市新桃文教協會策展人邱萬興今天透過電話受訪表示，「狂飆的硬頸年代 中壢事件40週年特展」總共收集100多張影像與史料文獻，這些得來不易的影像，都是當時的街頭攝影工作者陳博文、艾琳達、張富忠等人所提供，記錄40年前發生在桃園的「中壢事件」，它不但是台灣近代民主運動史上重要關鍵點，也是開創新局的里程碑。

邱萬興表示，在桃園市中壢藝術館特展舉辦前，協會前往國家檔案局調出當年重要史料文獻，希望將完整的史料，以「生動的照片」與「珍貴的文獻」呈現40年前，改變台灣選舉生態的中壢事件。

邱萬興指出，從1977年的中壢事件，到1986年桃園機場事件，桃園市都是台灣民主運動的重鎮，許多鄉親更是歷史見證者。這次的展覽透過歷史照片、重要檔案史料、傳單、紀錄片的完整呈現，讓年輕世代瞭解台灣民主、人權得之不易。

邱萬興表示，除靜態攝影展外，19日還將在中壢藝術館舉辦「中壢事件40週年學術研討會」，並邀請行政院客家委員會主委李永得、桃園市長鄭文燦、前民進黨主席許信良、陳婉真、姚嘉文及林濁水等人出席，歡迎桃園市民一起參與，了解中壢事件始末。1061116
